From One Truck to Nationwide Protection

Sterling Pest Control began in 2007 with a single truck, a small team of three, and a big vision: to deliver pest control services that actually work – the first time.

Our founder, after spending over a decade working for large pest control franchises, saw the same problems again and again. Customers were locked into contracts that prioritized profits over results. Technicians were rushed through appointments with little time to address root causes. Follow-up visits became the norm rather than the exception.

There had to be a better way.

Starting with What We Knew Best

We launched in Orlando, Florida, focusing exclusively on termite control. In a state where subterranean termites cause millions of dollars in property damage each year, homeowners needed a company they could trust to protect their biggest investment. We built our reputation one inspection at a time, treating every home as if it were our own.

Word spread. Customers began asking if we could help with other pest problems – ants invading their kitchens, rodents in their attics, bed bugs brought home from travel. We listened, and we grew.

Growing the Right Way

By 2012, we had expanded our services to include comprehensive residential pest control, covering everything from common household pests to wildlife removal. But growth never meant cutting corners. Every new service line came with rigorous training, the latest treatment methods, and our unwavering commitment to doing the job right.

In 2015, we opened our doors to commercial clients. Restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and warehouses across Florida trusted us to keep their businesses pest-free and compliant with health regulations. Our Integrated Pest Management approach – focusing on prevention and targeted treatments rather than blanket chemical applications – resonated with businesses looking for sustainable, effective solutions.
